Generative Design
The company pioneered and developed generative design technology that is used for creating useful design variations. While there are now software available for generative design for early stage design exploration they are not suitable for real life applications.
Geometri’s approach to generative design is based on constraint management. While it is relatively easy to create interesting design variations it is difficult to create “useful design variations”
Genometri’s generative design approach works by:
- Developing a parametrically driven genetic CAD model of the object
- Setting up constraint envelopes based on various factors
- Generating design variations
